Customer Reviews
I’ve tried countless moisturizers with SPF over the years, but this one truly stands out. It delivers the perfect balance between hydration and sun protection without feeling greasy or heavy on my skin. The texture is lightweight and absorbs quickly, leaving my face feeling soft, smooth, and refreshed all day long. What I love most is that it doesn’t leave a white cast or clog my pores, which is a huge win for someone with sensitive, acne-prone skin like mine. Plus, the added SPF gives me peace of mind knowing I’m protected from harmful UV rays, whether I’m heading out for a walk or just sitting by a sunny window. There is no scent, and it wears beautifully under makeup—no pilling or flaking. If you’re looking for a moisturizer that nourishes your skin while providing reliable sun protection, this is it. I can’t recommend it enough!
This tinted sunscreen is great for everyday use. It blends in nicely and gives a natural look without a heavy white cast. I like that it has a matte finish and feels lightweight once it’s on. The only thing I noticed is that it does seem a little thick when first applying, but it settles in after a bit. Overall, a good daily sunscreen that feels comfortable and easy to wear.
This tinted sunscreen blends well on my light, neutral skin tone and gives a nice, even finish without looking streaky. While the tint worked well for me, I suspect it may not be as forgiving on darker skin tones.
Excellent product , color looks awesome on my skin
Decent mineral sunscreen in terms of finish. The tint blends well and avoids the typical white cast, even on medium skin tones. Leaves a matte, non-greasy look that works well under normal daily conditions. Doesn’t clog pores and feels lightweight enough to wear consistently.
Excellent product
The Tinted Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 works very well at keeping me from getting a sunburn on my face. I like the fact that it don’t leave a white shade that a lot of sunscreens leave. I feel like it goes in easy enough and it’s a convenient size that allows me to take it with me traveling or just to use at home. I’m not sure how I feel about the blending it in to match your skin. This is the first time I’ve used sunscreen that matches your skin tone. I am a guy so maybe I just need to practice it a few more times.
I'm always on the lookout for a good tinted sunscreen that blends well onto my face and doesn't break me out. Squeezing it out of the bottle, the cream feels a little thick at first, but it spreads across my face smoothly once I start rubbing it in. The tint blends out nicely on my fairly light neutral skin tone. It has a matte finish that doesn't look too shiny. I've worn this under light makeup without any pilling, and there's no noticeable heavy scent to it. The SPF of 50+ is unusually high too for a tinted sunscreen!
Does SPF blur works great. My only complaint though is that the pump broke inside of it so I never really get to use it I have to unscrew the lid every time I use it. What is the different type of packaging but other than that I probably just got her dud. The product itself is very good for sensitive skin and did not have any reactions at all. I like that it's not like a full coverage or anything like that but also protects from the sun. There's no harsh smells or anything like that and it just makes my skin feel really nice on top of having that added SPF 50 on it. I would highly recommend this is great for keeping you young while you can because that's sun damage is no joke.
This Nova Derm Institute Blur SPF 50 is an impressive multitasking product that combines sun protection with a smooth, skin perfecting finish. The texture is lightweight and blends easily without leaving a heavy or greasy feel, and it gives a subtle blurring effect that helps minimize the appearance of pores and uneven texture. I like how it sits well under makeup or can be worn alone for a more natural, polished look. The SPF 50 coverage provides great peace of mind for daily wear, and it does not leave a noticeable white cast on my skin. The pump packaging is convenient and dispenses just the right amount, making application quick and mess free. It feels comfortable throughout the day and does not clog my pores, which is a big plus for regular use.
I absolutely love tinted sunscreens since they're so convenient for a done up look with the protection of sunscreen! The pump bottle is a generous size. Initially it did take a lot of pumps to get the sunscreen out. One pump seems to be plenty to cover my whole face. The color is a little lighter than my skin tone but it blends in and gives me a glowy dewy look. It does not give a matte dry finish so I did use setting spray to prevent transferring, which is why the 1 star off. The mineral sunscreen was easy to apply and went on smoothly. I did not have any sensitivities or breakouts from using this. There is a very light clean powdery scent to the sunscreen. For the price, the tint color worked ok for my skin so this is a good value for me.
This Nova Derm Institute Tinted Mineral Subscreen seems pretty good. It gets absorbed into my skin very nicely and my skin feels as if I went to a spa. This sunscreen has a light scent. It's not a bad scent at all and it doesn't smell 'cheap' like some sunscreen tends to do so that's a good thing. We had our first real sunshine today after a very long winter and I immediately put this to the test. It's important to use sunscreen for the first real sun of the season and I can confirm that I had no sunburn.
This is a rather thick tinted sunscreen. It works much like a bb cream. When you first start to put it on is seems similar to a translucent style foundation, but as you work it into your skin it starts to blend fairly well. It is lightweight. I do like using tinted sunscreen for those light make-up days especially when I know I will be spending time outside. This sunscreen is gentle on your skin and even has some ingredients like green tea and vitamin c to nourish and brighten your skin.
This is a solid SPF 50 mineral sunscreen that blends surprisingly well without feeling heavy. The color is very subtle, though it was a bit too light for my skin tone.
Nova Derm Institute tinted mineral sunscreen is a lightweight formula which blends into your face without leaving any white residue behind. It leaves a matte finish which helps even your skin tone, blur pores and smooth imperfections with the benefit of having an SPF 50. The formula contains zinc oxide, which helps protect against sun damage, dark spots and environmental stress. The lotion absorbs easily and doesn’t irritate sensitive skin. It is paraben free. The waterproof formula stays put even when swimming or sweating, it is recommended to reapply after 2 hours. Due to the waterproof formula, it does make it difficult to remove. I found it easier to remove with a make-up remover wipe, not soap and water.
It does a really nice job evening out redness, which I like. That said, it does the job and feels lightweight enough once it’s on.
I have a light, cool-toned complexion, and this shade matched my skin beautifully. Because it contains zinc, it goes on a bit thick and can look blotchy at first, but it settles nicely after a few minutes. A little goes a long way and I am probably not using enough to get the full SPF 50 protection, but when I layer it over my regular sunscreen, it adds an extra layer of sun protection along with a touch of tint. Overall, it applies well, provides good coverage, and fits nicely into my morning routine for days when I want both sun protection and a bit of natural coverage.
